Review: CND Stickey Base Coat

Since I'm slightly obsessed with nails, I'm always on the hunt for products that make lacquer last longer! Enter CND Stickey Base Coat - I've seen a lot of rec's for this and decided to try it out.

It claims to: "anchor colour to the nail to prevent peeling and chipping," in addition to "improves nail colour wearability, helps prevent surface staining of natural nails and enhancements, and is a 3-free formula." Usually, I get 2-3 days of polish wearability with some chipping and peeling. I'm extremely lucky to squeeze in 4 days. With CND Stickey Base, I got the best 5 days of color I've ever had, with only the teeniest chip spot on 1/10 nails (at the tip). And I do a lot of hand-washing, typing, accidentally banging my nails on objects, etc.  There is some tip wear, but overall, this is a HUGE improvement from my usual manicures.

After 5 days, I decided to remove it because I wanted a change!  I think it could've lasted at least another 1-2 days.  Color pictured is OPI Diva of Geneva (and my other hand actually looked better, but it's too hard for me to photograph my right hand).

So bottom line: CND Stickey Base is great!

This is 2 days after color application.
