DIY Style: Quick Green Earrings

I love when the stars wear emerald earrings on the red carpet, so I'm inspired to make a pair.  I found these large green baubles in my grandma's craft box and quickly put these earrings together!

Inspiration (though I'm not much of a fan of the dress and hair, I love the earrings. Angie, however, gorg!)

My Version

Step 1
Slide gold bead onto head pin, form a simple loop with round nose pliers, cut off extra stem, attach to green gem and close loop.

Step 2
Open loop on earring hooks (like opening jump rings), attach to green gem, and close loop with pliers.

And that's it!
