Outfit Of The Day: Slightly Golightly

Shoes: Stuart Weitzman "Extra" {similar style here} {and here} {last seen here}
Clutch: Abas {similar here} {last seen here}
Sunglasses: Tom Ford "Anouk" {last seen here}
Lipstick: MAC Viva Glam I {here}

This outfit happened by chance.  I've been inspired by all the bloggers who've been wearing oversized sweaters, but I generally shy away from anything oversized because of my body proportions - it makes me look gigantic.  I bought this drapey sweater at Wal-Mart several years ago and have only worn it a handful of times.  I thought it could work with something that was fitted on the bottom, to hopefully balance out the proportions.  By time I added jewelry and fixed my hair, I realized the look was slightly Holly Golightly-esque.  That wasn't even my original plan, but I knew my retro cat-eye Tom Ford sunglasses would complete the look.

Today, I'm continuing the beautiful Southern home tour at Barrington Hall, built in 1842. "Well-known as one of "Metro Atlanta's 50 Most Beautiful Homes" (Atlanta Magazine) and recognized nationally as one of the best in Greek Revival style architecture, Barrington Hall sits on seven acres in downtown Historic Roswell." This was the home of the son who founded this quaint town where I work and frequently take pictures.  I've driven by this home on my way to and from work for the past two years, but didn't realize it was there until recently.  It's somewhat hidden from the main road.  And I kinda like how you can see my reflection in the signage.  :-)

And lastly, if you missed the blog sale, you can find it here.

Oh Mary Ann, you look like a million bucks girl. WOW!!! That's what I kept saying at each and every picture. You look so regal. At Wal-Mart? Unbelievable!!! That's awesome! I super adore that sweater, skirt (what a great print) and shoes (they're like a beautiful cranberry color). GREAT LOCATION!!! You look like a 1st lady in these pics. FABULOUS POST!!! ((HUG))

This house is gorgeous, it reminds of the tv show Savannah when they used to film in a white mansion with pillars! I have that same skirt in the brown and tan colour mix from Express as well! :) No bandit again today :(
