I'm starting out the new year with a vintage coat - but not just any. This houndstooth coat was made by my grandmother for my mother in the 1960s! It even had a matching shift dress which has long since disappeared, but the coat stuck around. This Fall, My mom and I stumbled upon this Ralph Lauren ad below while browsing a fashion magazine - the coat is practically the same! The last time I wore it was in 2004. I hope your New Year has started with a blast!

Girl I love you but you need to do something with your brows to make the more flattering for you gorgeous face. I would recommend letting them grow in and then having them threaded and reshaped. Thicker, fuller brows would so suit your gorgeous retro look. You are beautiful and amazingly stylish.
What a gorgeous outfit, I love the red skirt!
Hope you had a great New Year. Please check out my blog for a review of V Nunes jewelry ;)

Hahaha, wow--that coat IS extremely similar to the one in the Ralph Lauren ad. What a neat thing to have! The only thing my gramma gives me are her old broken butter dishes. That I don't want. Le'sigh.
Love the look. Very chic and elegant.
