Outfit Of The Day: Smoke

Sweater: TJ Maxx {similar here} {and here}
Shirt: Old Navy {here}
Leather leggings: Vince
Shoes: Talbots "Riri" {here}
Purse: Chloé "Paraty"
Earrings: Made by me
Ring: Kendra Scott "Tela Ring" {here}
Bracelets: Asos, Target, and vintage
Sunglasses: Chloé "Ammi" {here}

Here are another pair of Talbot's shoes I ordered for less than $40 (after Extra Petite Jean shared an internet code a few weeks ago). This is now my third pair and I have to say, I've been impressed with the quality, especially for the sale price (they generally retail in the $150-ish range). I find my feet easily prone to blisters and I wore this pair all day long with no issues. I appreciate that they sell narrow and wide widths, as well. Since I have relatively narrow feet, I can order narrow sizes on clearance when all the medium sizes have sold out. Tip: When ordering narrow widths, I've discovered going up about a half size can help.

Beautiful outfit! The legging and heels (great deal!) are classically sexy, but the sweater tones down the "va-va-voom" effect.

I am def going to check out talbot's shoes. Since the store in Chicago closed that store is basically out of sight and out of mind, and $40 is a fab deal :)

Love all of this! I have not been inside of or near a cabin for years! This is making me want to pack up all of my things & escape to the country! & I definitely need to look into those pumps! I have no luck with shoes & almost always have to whip out the sandpaper to make them work ;D Marvelous set; love the last picture the most!

I really like this look. Def something I would wear! I am coveting those leggings, though its a bit too warm in LA right now to even think of them. I guess night-time would be grand...lemme know when you're tired of em :)

I was searching for some Talbots Riri pointy toe pumps review and found your blog! I'm now even more convinced that I need those pumps! I'm debating whether to order my normal size or a half size down. Do you think the Riri's run small or true to size? or do they stretch over time and a half size down is wiser?

Mary Ann said...

@Olyvia - I definitely do NOT find that they run small. In open-toe shoes, I wear a 6.5. and it closed-toe shoes I wear a 7. I find with pointy-toed shoes I need a 7 to 7.5. Since I ordered these in narrow, I went with the 7.5. They fit perfect!
