It's the 4th annual Rock The Red Pump Project, an organization that raises awareness about the impact of AIDS on women and girls. Founded in March 2009 by Luvvie Ajayi and Karyn Watkins, Red Pump believes that if HIV affects one, it affects us all. They use the red shoe as a symbol of empowerment to represent the strength and courage of women infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

This is my second year rocking the red pump and 2012's goal was to get 2,500 bloggers involved. The Red Pump Project aims to:

• Commemorate major awareness dates with various events or campaigns online and on the ground
• Partner with organizations doing work in HIV/AIDS in their initiatives and events around the country
• Get women around the country to “Rock the Red Pump™” both online and on the ground
• Be involved in getting 1,000 people tested nationally
• Raise funds for HIV/AIDS service organizations

You are definitely ROCKING the red pump. Love it! I

I have some red pumps that I bought in a moment of weakness because I realllly wanted red shoes. They have turned out to be so uncomfortable they are just sitting sadly in my closet. Luckily I didn't spend much on them since they are from Marshall's.

Can you give us more info on the clutch you made? Gorgeous!
