Can I tell you how excited I was to find this wild '70s backless (excuse my bony scapula) maxi dress for less than $20 a couple of weeks ago? This is something I never could have dreamed up. I was in a thrift store searching for modern dresses and came across this gem. It screamed summer backyard barbecue to me, except I don't have a backyard or barbecue. I wore it to the student performances this past weekend and received tons of compliments. I don't know what I like best - the wild pink and orange floral print, the lack of back, or the groovy '70s collar!
I'm posting this a day early to participate in Marion's 2nd Trend of the Month Challenge! I thought this dress is a perfect example of how trends constantly reemerge and reinvent themselves.
