Historic Tour

Blouse: LOFT {similar here in blue}
Skirt: Goodwill $5, thrifted and altered {DIY here} {similar here in red lace}
Shoes: Talbots "Gabbi" {here}
Bag: Chloé "Paraty"
Necklace: Target {similar here}
Earrings: thanks to Foxy Originals {here}
Ring: Kendra Scott "Tela" {here}
Bracelets: Vintage {similar here}
Watch: Michael Kors {similar here}
Sunglasses: Tom Ford "Anouk" {similar here}
Lipstick: MAC M.A.C. Red {here}

I call this hairstyle The Wendy, since Wendy over at Wendy's Lookbook frequently rocks this look! It's a fun and easy departure from the usual high bun, which I wear on an almost daily basis to work!

Also, I love exploring these gorgeous pre-Civil war homes here in the South (Roswell, GA, to be exact - just north of Atlanta) and today we're at Naylor Hall. I work in this town and drive by these stunning homes multiple times per week. Certainly beats sitting in traffic on the interstate, yes? And how nice that no one seems to mind David and I traipsing around the property with our camera. I've added a new tag - historic tour - if you'd like to check out the other antebellum places I've been! PS - I love that the southern magnolias are starting to bloom!

Lastly, if you haven't entered my giveaway, now's the time! Foxy Originals has kindly sent me two pair of pretty silver earrings (just like the gold ones I'm wearing here) to giveaway to TWO lucky readers! Simple entry, no complicated rules, enter here!

Thank you so much for dropping by!

That skirt looks so pretty on you, especially paired with those shoes and a printed top. I love historical homes as well! Aren't they always just so beautiful?

I love this outfit - I really enjoy the subtle animal print paired with a bright solid. The necklace works so well with the shirt's neckline, too! Also, being that I actually live in Roswell GA it's fun to see places I know in someone else's blog. :)

They certainly did know how to build a plantation back then. Went to New Orleans once and was so awed by the columned and wrap around porches on the plantations there. Loving the red skirt and lips!!

You look as good as Wendy herself in that hairdo.. I've been trying her sock bun but I think my hair needs to be longer. By the way, you look as put together as always :)
