Happy Monday friends! I frequently have good luck with the Target clearance racks and the Merona line. It's women-sized, not junior-sized, so it's more forgiving in ample areas like busts and hips. I found both this shirt and skirt on the clearance rack (though at different times) and I'm happy with the quality. Many of the items I've bought I consider to be on par with other retailers like Ann Taylor/LOFT, Banana Republic, etc. I really like the reptile print on this skirt - it's noticeable, but not obvious. This skirt is lined, made of a substantial cotton material, has pockets, and has a hidden zipper closing the center back seam. Readers, do you have good luck with the Merona line?

I like the Merona line too- I just wish they'd expand it. Less junior clothes, more real clothes! ;)

That's a great skirt, definitely looks more expensive than it was. I blogged about cheap-o Wal-Mart today! Yay for expensive clothes!

I find Target clothing to be quite great quality as well. And I love their sales :)

I was actually pretty surprised when I read that your skirt is from Target! I love it! I only have a few pieces that are Merona, and I love them all.

You got some great scores off the clearance rack! I usually don't have much luck with Target clearance...I tend to buy their juniors line since I'm so petite.

I love the way that reptile print almost looks like it's superimposed on an ikat or floral motif. Makes it classy and subtle.
