1 Dress - 3 Ways, Vol. 1

I recently found this black and white print dress on the clearance rack at Target for only $12.50! I thought it was a great buy and wanted to demonstrate its versatility without spending a lot of money. It was a few inches longer - I hemmed it to the petite-friendly length of right above my knees. I hope you enjoy these pairings and are inspired to find some creative uses of something from your own closet or clearance rack!

Casual At The Movies
Dress: Merona at Target {here}
Sweater: LOFT {similar here}
Bag: Coach {similar here}
Shoes: Sigerson Morrison
Bracelet: thanks to INPINK {here}
Ring: Amrita Singh {here}
Watch: Michael Kors {similar here}
Sunglasses: Tom Ford "Anouk" {similar here and here}

I paired a casual striped sweater with this look because if you're anything like me, while the temperatures are hot outside, the air conditioning inside many places (like movie theaters, for example) is freezing! Add a deep bag for sneaking in snacks and some comfy flats and you're ready to go!

Lunch Date
Dress: Merona at Target {here}
Cardigan: Merona at Target {here}
Bag: Chloé "Paraty"
Heels: Talbots "Lyra" {similar here}
Necklace: Vintage and thrifted
Earrings: thanks to INPINK {similar here}
Bracelets: Target and thanks to INPINK {here}
Ring: Kendra Scott "Tela" {here}
Sunglasses: Chloé "Ammi" {here}

This dress is very easy to mold into an office or lunch date appropriate look. The v-neck, defined waist, and drapey fabric give a feminine silhouette without being obvious. Add a bright cardigan, nice jewelry, and statement bag and you're ready to go!

Evening At The Ballet
Dress: Merona at Target {here}
Belt: black ribbon with vintage brooch {similar here}
Purse: Vintage {love this one}
Heels: Christian Louboutin "Decollete" {here} {similar here for $125 and here for $25}
Necklace and Earrings: Made by me
Sunglasses: Tom Ford "Anouk" {similar here and here}

For this look, I added a vintage brooch pinned to black ribbon, a vintage bag, and elegant jewelry. I think many frocks can be dressed up with a great pair of heels - especially like the cut and patent material of these Louboutins. No ankle straps keeps my short legs looking long. But please ladies, no giant platforms like this - they're really not the ticket to creating an elegant look.

I found this dress easy to play with - adding and subtracting accessories was really all I did. Readers, which look do you like the best and how would you style this dress?

Love the versatility shown here. Clothes that can be worn to many different kinds of events are the best kind and often just switch accessories is all you need! Love it!!
