Happy Halloween, friends! I actually made this Woodland Fairy outfit several years ago - I found the gold dress at H&M and gathered pink, green, brown, burgundy, and champagne layers of tulle to form the skirt. For the wings, I shaped twig-covered wire then wrapped them with eyelash yarn. I added little gold sequins to the under layers of the skirt and to the wings, and topped off the wings with some small flowers and a bird. The hair accessory is just a small bit of gathered tulle and there is also a little pouch (not pictured). I end up wearing this one frequently at Halloween since it's somewhat unique and people are always impressed with it.
This is my third Halloween on The Dapper Bun and I always enjoy dressing up (catch my 2011 and 2010 looks). As for the pictures, David and I were rushing against the setting sun so they came out quite dark and grainy. Thank you so much for visiting today.
